Who Are We?

The web site, www.costa-luz-holiday-villas.com is part of the Costa de la Luz Homes S.L. organization, a well-established fully registered Spanish limited company, but at the same time it is a family business where we all work hard to make you feel at home and help you find the right property for your holiday, or to buy, be it in Chiclana, Alcala de los Gazules, Paterna de Rivera, Sanlucar de Barrameda, Vejer, or wherever.

Maria Jose was born in Cadiz and has many years experience (in Spain and the UK) both in Customer Service and as an estate agent. Roy is Maria Jose's husband and, although born and raised in Somerset,

he has been around the Costa de la Luz area for over 25 years. Maria usually handles Listings and Sales while Roy's background as a translator and editor makes him the ideal person to handle the fine detail often associated with the backroom work (contracts, mortgages, etc.) as well as acting as your interpreter for your private contract and completion. Over the years we have got to know a lot of people in this area, some good and some bad! We know the right people to get things done but we also know the cowboys so we can steer you away from them and safely through the minefield of buying real estate in Spain.

Irene (pronounced Ee-ren-ay) is our office manager. If you wander into the office she will usually be the first person you talk to. Chiclana born and bred, she speaks good English so don't be afraid to talk to her and tell her what sort of property you are looking for! Apart from being your first point of contact, Irene is also responsible for keeping the real estate database up to date, preparing your itinerary when you want to view properties and, along with Roy, coordinating all aspects of your purchase from the time you decide that you have found the property you want right through to signing of the deeds.

The Rental Team

Your first point of cantact if you book a holiday home through this web site is Steve Cole. Steve lives in Pago del Humo where some of the rental homes are. His job is that of booking manager and webmaster. He will make sure all is correct on the booking side, including any of the extra services you may require, to ensure your holiday home is ready and waiting for you.

Karen Miles is the rentals manager. Karen also lives here full time and choses the homes that are offered for rental on this site. Karen ensures that when a booking is passed to her that your holiday home is prepared for you visit. Karen also speaks Spanish and is the best person to ask about ..... well any thing concerning your stay here.

When you rent a holiday through this site you know that the people you are dealing with live and work in the area. We live here because this is the place that represents all that is best in Spain. Real Spain, secret Spain not spoilt by mass tourism.
This company came about through a process of natural evolution from property sales, maintenance and management. Villa owners know and trust us with their very valuable properties.
The holiday homes that we have on our books are known to us. We are not making decisions from photographs as most villa holiday companies do.
